Blackwood Cottage is a fully self contained two bedroom cottage set in a natural bush setting.
We offer a secure yard for your pet and yards for horses. Cobboboonee Forest adjoins our property providing many beautiful kilometers of horse trails.
For guests interested in walking, access to the Great South Western Walk is approximately 10 minutes walk away . We are located around 12 kms North West of Portland and have access two beautiful beaches approx. 15 minutes drive away. The beautiful Bridgewater Beach takes around 25 minutes to reach by car.
Blackwood Cottage provides all linen, a comfortable living area with a SMART TV and DVD and Bluetooth Hi Fi. There are a selection of books to read, a mix of cd's, dvd's and a number of board games and cards for your entertainment. A Wood fire warms the cottage in the colder months. Firewood is provided. Reverse cycle air conditioning has also been installed for your comfort and WiFi is available. Netflix is provided at the cottage.
Blackwood Cottage is pet friendly and allows house trained pets access to the inside areas except for the beds. Pet towels are provided.
Blackwood Cottage is non smoking, however there are undercover areas outside on the deck where smoking is allowed.
A Weber Baby Q BBQ is provided on the deck for any guests who enjoy a BBQ or even a roast.
