Blue & White Nile is a charming 3 bedroom cottage situated in trendy yet historical central Orange. The location is just one stand-out feature of this home... literally steps to popular cafes, parks, restaurants, art galleries, schools, sporting facilities and private hospital.
Inside you will find a quaint fully self-contained escape with all the modern facilities you will need including a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious beds, electric blankets, gas heating and pedestal fans for all seasons.
Upon entering you will find a large, light filled living room featuring quality fittings and furnishings including comfortable 3-4 seat chaise lounge, modern occasional furniture and stylish accessories. Amenities such as Digital TV with a Chromecast, free unlimited high speed WiFi and board games are also included. The large gas heater will keep you warm and cosy during the chilly winters and the pedestal fans in all rooms and security shutters keep the house lovely and cool in summer.
The open-plan kitchen has a gas cook-top and oven, microwave, dishwasher, pod coffee machine, kettle, toaster and is fully equipped with everything you could need to cook at home. Adjacent to the kitchen is the large country-style dining setting that seats 6 comfortably.
There are three good size bedrooms each with quality pillow-top mattresses, electric blankets, luxurious linens, cushions, throws, bedside tables, lamps and pedestal fans. The two queen size bedrooms have loads of built-in wardrobe space to store all your clothes and luggage. Quality towels and additional blankets are also provided.
In the bathroom you will find a hairdryer, free toiletries and a shower over the corner bath. Please note, this may not be suitable for the elderly or those with a dicky-knee as you need to step over the bath edge to access the shower. There is also no shower curtain - as the bath is large enough to catch the water - so beware if you are modest... The bathroom does have a door though. :)
Everything you will need in the laundry is provided - washing machine, dryer, tub, laundry powder etc, iron, ironing board, clothes horse, pegs etc. There is a clothes line at the side of the house... should you be so inclined...
Car parking is also located on street, right outside the front door.
The back yard is serenely private, fully fenced and a perfect place to enjoy your morning tea/coffee or a pre-dinner wine from one of the many stunning cool climate wineries Orange is now famous for. Couple this with a cheese, meat and fruit platter or some of the wonderful local fresh produce and great company = bliss!
