Garden Cottage is on the southside of the Wonthaggi township. It was built in the 1960's and retains all the charm of the era with a fully equipped kitchen in keeping with the design. Our kitchen amenities include complimentary items for breakfast pancakes. Or bacon and eggs. It has 2 bedrooms sleeping 5 guests all linen & portacot. A comfortable folding couch in the living room sleeps 2 adults.
Outside we have an enclosed porch with bbq and chairs for relaxing plus an outdoor dining area.
The space
Garden Cottage is a great space for families, couples or corporate travellers. We welcome dogs, we have new fencing for your families and furbabies security.
We have a port-a-cot available although you will need to supply linen for it, we also have a high chair in the diningroom for your special little person.
There are books, board games or a cricket set for backyard cricket. We also supply beach towels, sunscreen and personal insect spray.
We supply unlimited internet and have a Netflix/Utube compatible tv. So bring your login details to watch your favorite shows.
Guest access
As the house is our holiday home, you will have the entire space for your use, we are always available by phone. If you have any issues Frank our neighbour is able to help you.
Other things to note
We also have completed an Australian Gov't Infectious disease guidelines certificate for your health security.
There is plenty of off street parking.
We allow dogs, guests can have their dogs in the back yard or porch, laundry.
The fully fence 1000 square meter block allows dogs a great yard to play in.
We have a dog and he likes to venture indoors. Although we discourage this he is also on holidays. so if they are quiet dogs inside is acceptable.
We provide dog dropping bags so please clean up after your dogs in the yard or down the beach.
We have had guests bring cats in the past and it has always ended in hours of cleaning along with damage to furniture, so we no longer allow cats.
