This is our lovingly restored Queenslander and quaint country cottage stay. Built in the early 1900s, Sunday offers 3 bedrooms, a traditional sleepout, interconnecting dining and lounge rooms with an internal wood combustion fireplace. With two enclosed decks and outdoor seating you can enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Mackenzie. Stargaze with a sundowner by our outdoor firepit. It's a handy 10 minutes from Tenterfield Village and is equipped with superfast Starlink satellite WIFI.Bedrooms include a queen-size bed, linens, pillows, doona, fan, heater, and electric blanket. It offers a perfect retreat for your short-term stay and is perfectly located for those mountain bike enthusiasts that want to be on Mount Mackenzie in minutes. Choose the configuration you need from three available bedrooms, a sleep-out area, a dining room, lounge room, renovated kitchen, and a separate toilet. Complimentary parking is just outside the cottage on the driveway.The house features soaring ceilings, VJ walls, and painted wooden floors, with newly insulated walls and ceilings to keep you cosy in Winter and cool in Summer. You can also enjoy the natural ventilation and the suntrap on the fully enclosed front and back decks, where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views of Mount Mackenzie.The property also offers a unique outdoor dining option with an all-year-round undercover deck and BBQ, plus an outdoor firepit area with comfortable seating. Smoking (including on the deck and driveway areas) is not permitted.This is a shared use property with our glamping business and the driveway and glamping areas may be in use by other parties during your stay. These areas are off-limits to the cottage's guests.During the colder months our pricing includes a limited selection of timber for the firepit and fireplace and is supplied on a complimentary basis. If you plan to use the firepit and indoor fireplace extensively, we recommend guests bring their own additional supply of timber. We leave enough wood and kindling for 1 fire per day. You can purchase wood and kindling at Bunnings or hardware stores. It also offers light breakfast supplies.The Farmhouse is pet friendly, maximum of two dogs.
