ENTIRE furnished & self-contained, well-appointed, large, elevated, light and airy "Territory" house set amongst tropical gardens with plunge pool and 2 large balconies : ALL TO YOURSELF - just you, family & friends. Sleeps up to 8 (+ 2 air beds or cots; so up to 10 'at a pinch'). There are 3 bathrooms: 2 in the house and 1 bathroom and laundry downstairs. All linen supplied. Bring own food, drink & personal items. Min 2 night stay except Public Holiday long weekends (min 3 night stay applies).

Litchfield Tropical Retreat is an easy 1.5 hour's drive from Darwin CBD.
Opened in mid-2015, this fully renovated, well appointed and self-contained 3 bedroom/3 bathroom light, airy and elevated Territory-style house has a large, comfortable lounge with TV, huge kitchen, separate dining and breakfast rooms and 2 huge balconies with BBQ and hammock. This is tropical summer heaven all year round and one of Darwin's best kept secrets.
For larger groups there is a queen sofa in the lounge that can sleep an additional 2 people and if need be, we can provide a couple of single air mattresses which will fit in any of the bedrooms for extra people. (so max of 10 people all up). Plus, 2 cots and highchair are available.
All linen and towels are provided. Just bring your personal items, food and drinks. (The local Tavern which is within walking distance does good evening meals if you don't want to cook).
Litchfield National Park's Buley Rock Hole and Florence Falls are a scenic 30 mins drive away; as is the historical township of Adelaide River where WW2, Railway Precinct and markets may be of interest.
The birdlife is amazing, as are the sunsets and the tropical garden is a paradise waiting to be explored and enjoyed.
No pets or wild parties but celebrating life is encouraged !
