Maple View is situated in the small historic town of Medlow Bath, just 10 minutes north of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains and only 90 minutes drive or 120 minutes by train from Sydney. Accessible by car and the nearby Medlow Bath train station, the home is within walking distance of the famous Hydro Majestic Hotel and Synonymous Cafe. It's 15 minutes drive to Leura and less than 10 minutes drive to Blackheath both of which are only a train stop away. Despite it's proximity to these historic townships and landmarks it remains a secluded sanctuary.
The architect designed home is set on a private, one acre, garden block showcasing stunning mature gardens, native bush land and fabulous vista's. Self-contained, with plenty of pampering comforts, the house offers an open plan lounge and dining area with wood fire place as well as a fully equiped, enterainer's kitchen. The deciduous Japanese Maples provide a striking display of autumnal colour as the cooler weather arrives.
There is an abundance of native birds attracted to the gardens. Keep an eye out for Parrots, Rosellas, Lorikeets, Kookaburras and Cockatoos as well as the occasional Wallaby and Kangaroo. Close to bushwalks and national parks - a fabulous mountain getaway awaits!
