2 Bedroom Cabin in Glenbrook
The timber cabins are side by side secluded family cabins with one queen bed cabin and one triple cabin (single beds x 3), with own off street parking right at the cabin side, comfortably furnished with air con and fans.
Just up some timber stairs is the family room with full kitchen, indoor and outdoor tables, bathroom, tv and lounge.
The cabins are stand alone / detached although the generously sized kitchen area will be your own private space under main house which is occupied by the owners.
The accommodation has been opened to guests with empathy for lack of other family accommodation in the area (lower blue mountains).
Please note that the owners have their upstairs balcony that can overlooking the cabins so you not visually private to the deck area of the cabins, however your privacy is respected. We are friendly and open to having guests. The queen cabin has blinds, however the singles cabin enables parents to see through from their side into the "kids" area.
We have a cocker-spaniel dog that has a little free range to the garden and may come to say hi.
Also please note this is not the same location in the Blue Mountains as the famous 3 sisters area of Katoomba which is the upper Blue Mountains. However it has good access to Glenbrook National Park entrance which has red-hands cave and jelly bean pool - (natural pool).
Glenbrook is famous for its cafe's and 2 or 3 restaurants, and mountain biking trails. There is a local cinema, bottle shop, food works, butcher and green grocer and Saturday markets twice a month.
A couple of considerations for you.
You will need to walk up-stairs and outside your cabins to get to the bathroom.
There is no rain cover for rain to the stairs up to the bathroom.
You will be able to hear walking on the floor upstairs.
The driveway is shared with the neighbor who also has a BnB (granny flat style). Some people have difficulty backing up the driveway or into the parking area next to the cabins.
You may hear birds in the morning when you wake up, neighborly noises in the suburban area, rain drops on the roof, or a possum.
Please keep noise down (party / music) at night and locate to the guests family room under the house.
