Nutcrackers Lodge is a modern farm style cottage on the outskirts of town, 3 mins to bandy creek and 7 minutes to town central. The house is nestled between trees full of native birds and with kangaroos among the area. It overlooks paddocks with sheep, cows, emu's, goats, pigs and chooks roaming freely. All of our animals are friendly and most have been hand raised. Our accommodation is the only one like it and guarantee everyone in the whole family will love it! From the sunsets sitting under the front veranda to the backyard where the animals stand and wait for lunch or a pat. Food is provided to feed the animals which is up to the individual if they want to or not. A walk around the block will see native kangaroos and only a couple of km's away is the ocean or lakes to throw a line in. Fresh free range farm eggs are provided when in season.
It has 3 bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 9 people including 2 queen sizes beds, 3 singles and sofa bed in rear room . The living area includes a big screen TV and a dvd player, 3 piece lounge suite and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The dining area/kitchen provides full cooking facilities, cutlery and crockery, fridge/freezer and a microwave, breakfast bar and dining table. The laundry has a washing machine and a trough. The house has verandas all round and the backyard is fully fenced off and has a clothesline. Theres an outdoor table with a barbecue and table tennis.
