Come and stay.
My lovely, 3-bedroom home will be your home away from home.
It is a light-filled, older-style, fully equipped family home.
Located in a fabulous, semi-rural suburb on the edge of the river with lots of bird life.
An easy 5 minutes to Queanbeyan, 10 minutes to the airport, and 20 minutes to Canberra CBD.
Eco-friendly living practices are encouraged.
I also live on the property in a separate flat downstairs and often work in the garden.
I am always happy to make friends or leave you to it.
I've lived here for 20 years, my partner lives around the corner and my son across the road. We love it here.
I am community minded and interested in sustainability, health and well-being, and permaculture, and run multiple small businesses.

Summary: We had a really enjoyable stay in Oaks Estate. It's a little hidden suburb in between Queanbeyan and Canberra. It's a short drive drive downtown Queanbeyan (for coffee, groceries, etc.) 10 mins to Canberra city, or only 5 mins to Canberra airport. It's a wonderful big house, clean and with plenty of space. We have two babies (ages 2 and 5) and there was heaps for them to do at the house. Plenty of books to read, movies to watch, and a basket of toys and games. It's in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic. We stayed in July and the house is well heated. Caitlin was a great help and really accommodating. We plan to stay here again when visiting Canberra.
