Situated on a 20 acres, the peaceful 5-bedroom house, has a generous 10ft verandah with decking overlooking the front lawn, neighboring vineyards and views up the Mt Ida and the McIvor Ranges. It nestled amongst breathtaking nature, you wouldn't want to choose anywhere else!
There are 5 spacious bedrooms and two family areas for up to 11 people. The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space.
The house is equipped with all essential items and must-have kitchen equipment for short or long term stays.
Features include: huge wrap around verandah, TV and relaxing full body massage chair, a open kitchen with cookware, two family areas and a tea room, plenty of sitting area, free unlimited Wi-Fi.
* Alfresco: a stunning courtyard with garden area and fenced pool yard with an in-ground pool and outdoor sitting furniture, two shade umbrellas and BBQ.
* Laundry Room: washer, dryer, plenty of storage, iron & iron board, laundry powder, laundry liquid.
* Open meals and lounge area has solid fuel heater and access to the front deck and the rear courtyard via glass sliding doors.
*Second generous family area has been designed with family entertaining in mind with sofa, TV, Karaoke and relaxing full body massage chair.
* Bedroom 1 (master): 1 x King bed, 1 x sofa. 2 x chairs. It has two walk in wardrobes and access to the large ensuite with separate toilet. The large bay window in the master bedroom is the perfect vantage point to lay in bed and enjoy the views over the countryside.

At the north end of the home you will find the three remaining bedrooms:

We are on a farm and surrounded by open land and vineyard. Guests can use the entire house and have access to the 20 acre property.
* Adding to the allure of this property is our very own Downing Estate Cellar Door, situated just below, which has reopened its doors. Here, you can indulge in premium seated tastings and purchase bottles to take away, an exclusive privilege for our esteemed rental guests and the general public.
* Cellar Door Operating Hours: Every Saturday and Sunday, 11 AM - 5 PM.
* The outdoor pool can be accessed at any time of the year but it is not heated.
* Children must be under adult supervision at all times.
* One of the garage is locked for the owners use only.
* We are happy to welcome pets but conditions apply and written approval is always required, please advise if you would like to bring your pet.
We would always aim to not intrude on your stay if at all possible and would not come into the house during your stay, unless invited or needed for urgent maintenance works or stock management.

* Please take extra care of keys, a charge of replacement would be imposed if keys or remote were lost, damaged or not returned to the lock box.
* Check-in and key-collection instructions will be emailed before your arrival.
* Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and an additional charge of $20 per hour fee applied.
• You’ll be provided an initial supply of toilet paper along with a few extra rolls, but these may not be enough for your entire stay, and you may need to purchase additional supplies.

WELL BEHAVED DOGS ARE MOST WELCOME, HOWEVER,
* Dogs are most welcome in the floored areas. Plz do not allow your dog into any carpeted areas or on rugs.
* Dogs are strictly prohibited from entering the unit unattended, wet or dirty.
* We ask that dogs which shed heavily remain in the yard as much as possible. Plz remove any traces of dog hair from carpets or rugs etc. before vacating the property.
* Dogs are strictly prohibited from using the bedding or furniture. Plz bring your own bedding or mat and equipment - bowl, lead etc.
* If our cleaners need to clean up after your pets, excess cleaning fees will need to be passed on to you – this may include replacement of linen if it is found your pets have been inside on any beds, and any extra furniture treatments necessary, so please allow the extra time to tidy up well before you leave and ensure they stay off furnishings & beds during your stay.
* A dry cleaning charge may apply if dog hair needs to be removed from bedding or upholstery.
* If holes are found in window or door screens from dogs scratching you will need to cover replacement of the screens. Plz ensure your dog does not scratch doors or screens. Scratch marks on doors will also incur replacement charges.
* As a pet owner please be responsible for your dogs behaviour & well-being, even the calmest dogs can easily become distressed in strange environments.
* Please ensure you clean up any little surprises around the garden! It is not fair for the housekeepers or next guests to have to do this.
* Only allow one well-trained and well-behaved pet.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
* Booking with no reviews, we ask for a government photo ID like a driver's licence or passport to verify your legal name and so on.
* Insert correct guests number including children that they must be registered as a guest on the booking.
* Excessive noise will not be tolerated.
* Please leave the property in clean & tidy condition. Clean the oven and kitchen after use it, otherwise $60 applied. Over and above general cleaning charges will deducted from the bond if the property is left dirty or there has been damage caused.
* Please do not leave excess rubbish behind. Ensure empty all bins inside the house and take away all excess rubbish. A minimum $300 rubbish removal charge applies if you leave excess rubbish behind.
* Please take extra care of keys, a charge of replacement would be imposed if keys or remote were lost, damaged or not returned to the lock box.
* Remember return the house key in the lock box at check-out.
* Children must be supervised at all times during your stay, and to be particularly mindful when at outside space
* Guest’s age must be over 30. This means that someone who is under the age limits cannot book a stay for themselves.
