After a day at the beach, wander back to your comfortable beach abode and spend the evenings relaxing on the alfresco balcony as you listen to the waves break in the background. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you ll need to prepare a beautiful meal for the family. If you prefer to cook in the fresh air, then fire up the BBQ while you enjoy a cool drink as the sun sets. If you don t feel like cooking, simply nip across the road where you ll find a couple of local restaurants that will be happy to shake up a delicious cocktail and feed the family. Once you ve had enough of the beach and lagoon (if that s even possible) then make sure you check out one of the many stunning bush walks. Bouddi National Park is popular all year round with those looking to get their nature fix and soak up some stunning views. In the summer months, take your swimmers so you can cool off at one of the secluded beaches along the way. For a good view closer to home, take a short walk up Tudibaring Head to Captain Cook Lookout and have a picnic. It s also a great spot to watch the annual whale migration. If you feel like even more action then make your way over to Avoca (just a short 3-5 mintue drive) and hire a pedal boat or kayak and cruise the lagoon. You ll also find local markets here on the 4th Sunday of every month as well as a charming little independent movie theatre, restaurants and bars.
