Luxurious Sunny Grove is a modern, two-storey, quiet holiday haven perfect for families. Flat, sunny and spacious, with a gorgeous pool and fully fenced yard for privacy, this stunning property was designed with families in mind. Sunny Grove is the perfect place to dissolve months of urban stress and recharge your energy levels.
GROUND LEVEL
Separate entry opening to beautiful, double-height ceiling over a magnificent, spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining. Lounge area includes designer and hand-made furniture. Foxtel available.
The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen is a cooking haven! It has a huge timber bench top with breakfast bar, Ilve appliances, gas cooktop, electric oven, double fridge/ ice-maker, microwave and dishwasher. The heart of the house overlooks the screened -in, covered, outdoor entertaining area and pool so you can always keep an eye on the kids. If you need to be closer when watching the kids in the pool, put your feet up in the shaded cabana. The stunning 9m saltwater pool is just the way to cool off all day.
Sliding glass stacker doors can be opened so the entire kitchen and rumpus room open out to become part of the great indoor/outdoor living space. The best thing is this area is completely screened so you won’t be bugged by the summer bugs!
Sunny Grove is a home made for holidays – there’s plenty of room to relax together without ever feeling cramped and there are various areas to escape to for some personal space.
Kids will be constantly entertained in the roomy, separate rumpus room containing a large flat screen TV / Netflix access, DVD library, Wii, Playstation, games and books.
Separate toilet / powder room on ground floor.
High chair available on request.
Full laundry includes washing machine & detergent, dryer, ironing board and iron. Hills hoist in a sunny position makes washing a breeze.
TOP LEVEL
Long polished timber hallways lead to 4 large bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom has a beautifully appointed ensuite with view to the pool and TV with Foxtel.
The generous main bathroom has two separate showers, twin vanities and a luxurious bath for a relaxing soak.
PARKNG
There is no garage access, however there is plenty of parking space in the double driveway. If you wish to take advantage of the great lakes waterways to water-ski, wakeboard, fish or just cruise around and explore, we also have off-street boat parking available.
We have a small vegetable garden growing seasonal kitchen herbs and produce- you are welcome to help yourself.
LINEN
All beds are dressed with mattress protectors, pillows & pillow protectors, duvets & duvet covers. You will need to bring your own; sheets, pillow slips, face washers, bath towels, and beach/pool towels.
Linen can be hired separately.
Tea towels and bath mats are provided, along with basic pantry items.
INTERNET
We supply free wi-fi or alternatively guests use their mobile hot spots.
PETS
We love animals, however some pet owners are not responsible with their pets and do not comply with the terms and conditions of Sunny Grove, so unfortunately, Sunny Grove cannot take pets at this time.
THE SURROUNDS
SMITHS LAKE
Frothy Coffee Boat shed and Cafe situated right on the lake is perfect for drinks, meals and snacks, catamaran, aqua-bike and tinny hire. Paddle board lessons and hire is also available. Here you will find a boat ramp, sandy beach, bbq/picnic area and kids playground. Great, safe swimming area for kids.
Local shops in Smiths Lake offer a great cafe/takeaway, bottle shop, bakery, butcher and general store.
PACIFIC PALMS
Just a 5 min drive away is family-friendly Elizabeth Beach and surfing hotspots Boomerang, Celito and Bluey's. Bluey's Beach offers an eclectic selection of dining and café options, along with a general store, surf shop, gift store and Bluey's Cellars which stocks an extensive range of wine, boutique beer and gourmet food.
OTHER
The freshwater Myall and ocean-fed Wallis Lakes are also close by to enjoy a myriad of water activities- from paddle-boarding to kayaking, sailing and pedal boating.
Not far south is iconic fishing village of Seal Rocks. With options for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving with grey nurse sharks, or a leisurely walk to the historic Sugarloaf Lighthouse, this untouched paradise is a must visit where the crystal clear water and dolphins never fail to delight.
This area is the unspoiled jewel of NSW’s mid north coast; truly a place you will not want to leave.
