Having unwrapped ‘THE CHURCH’ as a guest home in April 2016, it w and with family threads within the local history of the region, the host has made it a comfortable and homely offer for you to enjoy the experience of staying here. It is also now a tourism industry awarded property. Together with its antiquity as a former church built in 1867, it is conveniently located less than a 5 minute drive north of the main street line of the township of Gawler. Inside, 'THE CHURCH' offers a fully self-contained, 2-storey home, with 3 comfortable bedrooms - 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs, a main spa bathroom with laundry and ironing facilities downstairs and an ensuite bathroom upstairs. There is an open lounge and dining area on both levels and a fully equipped kitchen downstairs. Outside, the outdoor entertaining area overlooks the back gardens, plus a barbecue area, a sitting patio and a secure double carport onsite. The home is complete with ducted evaporative cooling and ceiling fans for the warmer months and a wood combustion heater, oil and radiant heaters and electric warming blankets for the cooler months. It is only a short drive or walking distance to the central business & shopping hubs of the township and an easy driving distance to the Barossa and Clare Valley winery regions & a 1 hour drive from the heart of the capital city of Adelaide. FREE continental breakfast, unlimited Wi-Fi, bedroom and bathroom linens and onsite parking are provided. Both personal and business bookings are welcome, but unfortunately events, photo and video shoots and pets are NOT permitted.
