The Deckhouse is a contemporary two-story boathouse/Cottage right by the water of Cowan Creek. It's tucked away in the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. With a Northwest orientation, you can enjoy stunning views of both the sunrise and sunset.
Upper level
The panoramic views of the river and beyond greet you as you enter the open-plan entry level. It's beautifully decorated with a compact but fully equipped kitchen, a living area, a bedroom, and ensuite bathroom. This self contained living space is flooded with natural light, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling doors that open onto the balcony. It's the ideal spot to lay on the daybed, unwind and watch the boats go by.

The outdoor stairs lead you down to the lower level, where you can step right onto the deck and pontoon. You can launch the kayaks, fish, soak up the sun, or fire up the BBQ for a meal under the stars.
Additional open plan studio accommodation is also available on this lower level, comprising of an ensuite bathroom, bed and kitchen facilities for BBQ

When you choose to stay at The Deckhouse, Cottage Point the property is soley for your use. We do not rent out the accommodation separately.
Kayak, fish and simply relax while enjoying the water, the views and the magnificent sunsets of Cottage Point.
Two kayaks, life jackets and two fishing rods are available for guest use. Boat hire is available across the road at the Cottage Point Kiosk.
The Deckhouse uses rain water and reverse cycle air conditioning on both levels.
NO FREE TO AIR TV, Netflix, Prime ( sign in to your own account) and Foxtel available. Main living area 40" HD, Bedroom 32"HD smart TV upper floor.
Please note that the lower deck, jetty and pontoon are not fenced and access between each of the property levels, is via outdoor stairs only. No wheelchair access
IMPORTANT
Access from the carport is via inclinator ( outdoor lift) only. There is no alternative. The inclinator takes only a couple of minutes from the carport to the property ( a favourite experience for many guests)

Owners live in a separate home at the top of the block of land. We always endeavour to give guests full privacy during their visit and do not use any of The Deckhouse outdoor areas to ensure your privacy.
