Welcome to our cosy bungalow - a snug and rustic one bedroom retreat that sleeps two, well away from the busy city life.
It's situated on a productive working organic permaculture vegetable and fruit mini-farm, bordered by both a river and a creek in a beautiful and quiet location, with scenic Turpins Falls and The Cascades nearby. The mini-farm is also a short drive from the historic towns of Castlemaine, Kyneton, Malmsbury and Taradale. There you will find cafes, restaurants, markets and antique and craft shops.
The cost bungalow is the best of both worlds, with comfortable amenities in a peaceful farm setting. It provides a semi self-sufficient lifestyle for all who live and stay here – including you! You can always buy some vegies, berries, fruit and herbs and eggs while you’re here. And there are staff here every day to help you out. So feel free to stroll around the garden and hothouses, wander down to the river for a relax or swim, play soccer and netball, relax on any of the outdoor seats and tables or use the barbecue at any time. Bring you bikes as well. There are lots of tracks and gravel roads to explore throughout this quaint farming community. Remember to bring your bikes. The farm is close to local bush tracks that are ideal for exploring.
If you choose to stay on the farm, wander through the scenic natural environment, see the fruit hanging on the trees or meet our furry and feathered friends - pat the goats and pigs and check out our chooks. They free-range in their innovative mobile pen to clean up and fertilise our garden beds. Natural wildlife and birds also abound.
Our entire property is securely fenced, so your pets can have the run of it if you bring them along. It's truly a most unique sanctuary and retreat. We hope to see you soon!
