Recently renovated, freshly painted with new furniture and blinds throughout. Clearview Cottage is a self-contained, relaxing, quiet lake house with absolute water frontage and shared jetty. Ideal for couples and families for a weekend escape or longer.
Bookings are limited to a minimum of 2 nights off-peak, 3 nights on public holiday weekends and 5 nights during peak (school holiday periods).
Early check-in of 10am. Check-out is at 11am.
Beds are freshly made in readiness for your arrival. We supply doonas, pillows, blankets and bath towel sets.

Sorry, pets are NOT permitted and there is no smoking within the cottage.
We supply complimentary tea/coffee/sugar/milk/biscuits & some basic pantry items.
Clearview Cottage is located at Sunshine on the southern shores of Lake Macquarie (near Morisset, NSW), just 70 minutes easy drive on the M1 expressway north from Hornsby.
Clearview is a testament that the very first holiday houses on the Lake acquired the best waterfront locations and is positioned forward of other houses giving you a unrestricted 180-degree views.
The cottage is elevated and takes advantage of the outstanding open water outlook with the living, dining and kitchen areas all overlooking the lake through tinted windows.
Clearview is simply furnished yet very comfortable, capable of sleeping a maximum of 6 people with TWO bedrooms, both with brand new queen sized beds. There are also 2 single beds provided.
There is a fully-fitted kitchen with all the homely inclusions, sensor lighting, a wired smoke alarm, ceiling fans in all sleep quarters, a bath-shower combo with toilet and another separate toilet.
There are two generous size decks covering approx 30+ square metres, with regulation-height safety fence with a gate at stairs.
We provide FREE WiFi, 2 x TV's (1 large Smart TV in the living room & 1 digital TV in the main bedroom) and a blu-ray DVD player (with a selection of discs). We have also recently converted the boat shed into another chill out space closer still to the water's edge.
Driveway is long enough to house car and boat trailer. Boat launch is conveniently within the reserve located by the South Lake Macquarie Sailing Club just 300m away at the opposite end of Sunshine Parade.
The boat launch also includes provision for cleaning fish near the boat ramp, an undercover electric barbeque, a great shady space to kick a ball and some fun kids play equipment. There is also a good walking track at the end of the play area, a 30 minute walk will take you to a lookout on the northern tip of the bay.
A convenient shopping centre is just a 5-minute drive away with Coles, take-away, chemist, post office, bottle shop with bistro, cafes and variety of other shops and services.
Clearview is just 45 minutes from the renowned Hunter Valley Wine District. Relaxing on a deck with a glass or two after a day out, watching the yachts glide by or after dinner checking out the Milky Way is indeed memorable.
